The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

1. If you disagree with a rule, law, or public policy, it is better to remain silent than to speak out and risk punishment.

I think that you shouldn't speak out because like in Germany if you disagreed with what Hitler was doing then you would be sent to concentration camp. You could go to jail just because you spoke out about what you thought was wrong. It also would depend on what the rule, law or public policy because if it was a big one then they could do anything to you because they are the government and they could even punish you physically if you disagreed with a big rule, law, or public policy. But if it was just a small rule, law or public policy then they might just dismiss it but I, personally would just keep it to myself and not risk punishment.

What is a 'good' life?

Please respond to this question. Please be specific in your response. Use examples of personal stories if you wish!

I think that I 'good' life is life that there is no suffering. For example a life without pain or loss. A life with only happiness and peace. That is my idea of a 'good' life but I also think that a 'good' life could be anything if you think about it. It could be if your life is full of happiness and wealth or if your life is full of love but I 'good' life for me would be a life with peace, happiness and no suffering.
